THE POWER OF THE PURGE

Mama Sweet: I read a friend's blog that said "Respect yourself enough to know that you need a clean and organized surrounding to live in abundance. If something does not provide value or contribute to your life in some way, purge it, and feel what a difference it makes in your life." (This is totally summarized and written from the parts that touched me the most.) It was the word "respect" that put my cleaning wheels in motion. While my house is very orderly, there are corners of my home that are not honoring our life. To cleanse the unnecessary items gives my family an opportunity to let go of the past and enjoy the abundance of today!

I started my household purge today and the process already feels incredible! It began in the girls' room and it was amazing what was removed from their closet- bibs, diapers, wipes. The room literally "feels" better. I plan to take on each closet and purge them until everything feels fresh, organized and full of life! What a mama sweet!

Mama Sour: My kindergartner came home with a red ribbon today as part of an anti-drug awareness week program at school. While I want this message ingrained in her subconscious and conscious brain...I felt a little sad that it was part of the kindergarten curriculum.
